“Oh my! 5 out of 5 stars? NO! 10 out of 5 stars! This location is not only the place to stay when visiting Mystic, but is in fact a reason to visit Mystic. Anne (as in Oakley) is the consummate host. Greeting us upon arrival and providing us with a person tour of her beautiful property. And beautiful it is! The rental unit is on the second floor above a garage. (Please note the presence of steps.) Everything is so clean it is as if it were new. Beautiful and tasteful decorating. Comfortable queen……

“We enjoyed staying at Hadley Seaside cottage very much. It is a cute space and has an incredible backyard. The only slight issue was that the bathrooms are small. If we were there for the beach, we wouldn’t have even noticed that. But we were there before beach season for a wedding weekend so we spent a decent amount of time getting ready for dressy events. But they still functioned just fine and everything else about the property was great. ”

“This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B.”

“This place was horrible. When we arrived the cleaning/maintenance people were outside having a screaming match. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets with the dishes. There were acorns on the couch. One of the queen size beds were broken and unable to be slept in. There was supposed to be a pull out couch which in fact was a blow up mattress. The downstairs window was cracked with and completely open. This was supposed to be an amazing get away for my Mom for her 6oth and 2 of our……
