“What an awesome place for a family getaway! The house is on a salt marsh with a dock and gorgeous views. The backyard has a tree swing, fire pit, and above ground pool. It is a great place for kids. They loved the pool, roasting marshmallows over the fire, and looking for fiddler crabs at the dock. There are gates at all the stairs so it was easy to keep the toddler safe. Mary was prompt and communicative, giving us detailed instructions with warm hospitality. Upon our arrival, the cottage and courtyard were very clean and tidy, it’s clear someone cares deeply for the space.Not only was our host wonderful, but we made friends with the other properties guests in the shared courtyard. We ended up spending our entire morning getting to know the other……

It's a great location for walking to everything we wanted to see in the historic area, so we didn't need to move our car until we headed out to Tybee Island for an afternoon. The kitchen is up to date and well-equipped. We enjoyed having breakfast on the shady back deck. I would choose this place again for a return visit.”
