The place accommodated us, but it would also work very well for a couple or a small family. This place was above and beyond anything we would expect from a hotel, and we hope to use it again. Algood and Cookeville proper are just a few minutes' drive away, but it was very quiet and peaceful. ”

“Great weekend at the “Hutt.” Gathered here with friends and family to celebrate my 50th birthday. Awesome indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out, we really enjoyed the fire features, pickle ball and the movie theatre was quite the hit between classics and college football. I’d recommend to anyone and the host was very welcoming. ”

“Property has a unbeatable view of Dale Hollow Lake. House has 2 level decks with comfortable seating to view. House itself has very nice furnishings and decorated nicely.Grandkids enjoyed the hammock and swing outside and the many choices of games inside.Near Sunset Marina/restaurant ( had a terrific meal )”

“Easy to find, check in was simple, house fully stocked with everything we needed. Nice area and some good restaurants. Hot tub and porch were very nice, beds comfy, its not the best VRBO I ever stayed in, but its pretty good. Owner was excellent with communication. Just remember guest bath water is backwards, hot is cold and cold is hot. ”

“Overall the property itself was mostly as listed. The gas was out in the grill so we were not able to use that and had planned meals around being able to grill. The footboard on the downstairs bed had exposed sharp edges where a cover piece had been missing and one of our party actually cut her leg just walking by bc it wasn’t visable that it was broken. The back door was off its track upon arrival. The silverware was limited. After booking we had to fill out a questionnaire and add emails and……
