“Everything about this cottage was arranged with thought and good taste, including simple decorations, furniture, and kitchen items. We instantly felt at home, except more relaxed, not being surrounded by our own chores and to-do lists! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops by crossing the charming covered bridge. In the other direction I found the Art Center and a beautiful park, and a second footbridge to the Library and History Museum. Highlights of our trip were the Silverton Holiday……

“Heather and Dave’s property was perfect for checking out Salem and surrounding communities. Close to downtown and capital; and great for short drives to McMinnville, Albany, Corvallis, and others. The house was comfy and they were prompt on answering questions and providing suggestions. Great neighborhood for walking. Highly recommend.”

“Very clean and inviting. My only issue was The lack of downstairs seating. The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. I was supposed to have another person with me and if they came we wouldn’t have been able to stay because lack of seating. It is a one person cottage the way it’s set up.
