“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. It's definitely a change of pace from the busier,……

“Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)visited Costa Rica for 9 days. We stayed in 3 different Vrbos but this one was our favorite. Absolutely amazing, paradise on earth! The hosts are very responsive and kind, you will arrive to some eggs, milk, snacks and fruit waiting for you. The location is perfect and safe. We were able to walk to the national park, maze, restaurants and the trail behind the house. We saw the most amount of different birds on our first morning out of our whole stay in Costa……

“The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.”

“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm……

“Beautiful home and property. We were cared for very well by Rod and Tanya. I’ve been to Costa Rica several times and I have never seen so many Toucans! The only drawback was the last couple miles of road leading to the property was pretty rough. Thanks for everything!”

“We travelled as a family of 5 ( 4 adults 1 child) and had the best of times in Casa Blanca. The enclosed community was peaceful and gardens manicured. We could see the volcano from the house and do a lot of fishing, hiking and sightseeing. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the house had everything we needed and more. “Our family of 5, adult children, stayed for 6 nights. The pictures do not do the property justice. Absolutely stunning views of lake, mountain and volcano. One of the best supplied VRBOs I have ever stayed at. The pool was clean with a nice view. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided lots of recommendations for food and entertainment. Only down side was the rocky curvy road to get to property. Would highly recommend! ”

“The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. “We all love owners , the house and neighborhood.It was very private and pretty.Taniya and Ken were very helpful. The house is well equipped The location is good but depends on what and where someone is planning activities . It is located 1.5 hours from LaFortuna so include the driving time into your planning.”

“Very cute and comfortable house, in a very quiet, rural area, about 20-25 minutes from the Rio Celeste Waterfall Park entrance. Carol was absolutely amazing with communication, was very responsive and gave great restaurants and attractions suggestions. We enjoyed our stay! ”

“This is very much a stay at a family’s home versus a primary rental purpose. It is a drive to everything but you get a lot of beds for the price. We had a very action packed time closer to La Fortuna so this house fit our low key plans. My husband used the sunroom with beautiful views for Work and the rest of us enjoyed the swimming pool and bird-watching. ”
