“Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. ”

“The hospitality of Patrick and his wife left us spoiled for the remainder of our trip. Every day there was a friendly check in text to make sure we weee having the time of our lives and a request on what we could help book reservations for incredible dinners. House was beautiful, magnificent breakfast and all around fantastic place to stay. Book it! You won’t regret it!”

“Place was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for a better space or view. Even better, Coltin is by far the best property manager we’ve ever had at a rental. “The villa is just as described and the location is cool. We spent days exploring the area, late afternoons cooling off in the pool and evenings watching the sunset. The walk down to the river is easy and we spent an afternoon hanging out there and swimming in the water. As others have said, there is still a lot of construction happening on the property and when complete the place will be fantastic. For now, there are no other amenities like a restaurant or spa on site but they are building……

“The property had amazing views. The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! He's amazing and it makes getting started……

“Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)visited Costa Rica for 9 days. We stayed in 3 different Vrbos but this one was our favorite. Absolutely amazing, paradise on earth! The hosts are very responsive and kind, you will arrive to some eggs, milk, snacks and fruit waiting for you. The location is perfect and safe. We were able to walk to the national park, maze, restaurants and the trail behind the house. We saw the most amount of different birds on our first morning out of our whole stay in Costa……
