“Both times we stayed at this property Patrick was waiting to meet us when we arrived. He and his wife go well out of their way to assure you have a great vacation. The home is equipped with many books, games, and so many cool artifacts to check out! It’s secluded and quiet giving you that perfect feeling of being lost in nature. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and fix a meal, or better yet, have Patrick cook for you. He’s an excellent chef who was willing to accommodate a vegan……

Comme l’endroit est près du lac et du sol, bcp de petits moustiques sont présents. Bref, nous recommandons l’endroit. ”

“Belle propriété avec bungalows tout neufs et très mignons. On a même vu un paresseux dans un arbre. Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. Repas et petits déjeuners très bons. Les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours prêts à rendre service.”

“We had a great time at the property. It was immaculately clean. The view was incredible. We wish that we could have stayed a few days longer. The hot tub and the stove was not working - which would have been nice to be able to use - but not a deal breaker for us at all.”

The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! He's amazing and it makes getting started……

“This is a truly a magical place. It is close enough to the Arenal touristy area but private and tucked away in nature. You will not only be in clouds but also above the clouds sometimes and hear the rain below!The one thing people might note is that the road to this place is not fully paved. So the access is a bit bumpy. But if you are truly looking for a remote place it comes with the package. The host is super responsive and helpful. “Beautiful property. We were there during a heat wave. The only AC is the attic room with 1 twin and 2 futon beds. It is a duplex, but it is huge. The garage is communal, but you have your own washer and dryer.”

“I had a great time my two weeks. This property is under development and is still in the first phase, so be prepared to drive through some work areas. Otherwise, quiet and beautiful property.”
