“We had a lovely stay at villa Alta. The staff were very welcoming, building was historical but modern. Really loved waking up to the birds chirping. Would highly recommend staying here to get away from the hustle and bustle for an authentic counrty feel. ”

“Accueil attentionné et en français. Hôtel très bien situé à la fois calme et permettant de visiter le centre de Lucca à pieds. Compter 15mn à pieds de la gare. Chambre spacieuse propre meublée à l’ancienne avec grande salle de bains , climatisation un peu faible. Salon et salle de petit déjeuner avec charme et excellent petit déjeuner. Au total un hôtel qui vaut ses étoiles avec personnel professionnel et accueillant.”

Bicycles were available for guests which my wife and I took advantage of riding the wall around the town. The breakfast choices were excellent and staffed with very friendly people.”

“It is a spacious, clean and elegant studio in a lovely building! The small kitchenette was perfect! The location just outside of Porta Santa Maria make exploring Lucca very convenient. The host was very helpful and friendly. I believe it was the cleanest lodging ever. Kudos to the staff and host! It is a newer building and all of the details were perfect. Parking included was a bonus. I would definitely stay there again when visiting lovely Lucca! Grazie Mille!”
