“Such a beautiful gem! The manager was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations. Just a small heads-up: the rooms didn’t come with toiletries, so make sure to bring your own. Would definitely recommend! So glad we stayed here. ”

“This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. “Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens……

“From start to end, it was an extraordinary experience to stay at the Taru Villas Maia. Most friendly service, wonderful room, lovely pool area. Loved the good coffee and tea (and fresh milk!) in the room, very comfortable bedding and the big shower. Food (breakfast & dinner) was also outstanding. We mostly had Sri Lankan dishes and loved it. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Would return immediately!🙂”
