“We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……

“Matt is a great host. Nice cottage with an up north feel. Kids loved the games, movies and playing by the lake. Colder temps so they couldn’t swim but just off the shore looks to be all sand.. Had a fire by the lake our second night. Definitely will return and do some fishing. Can’t beat the sunset off the lake whether your inside in the rocking chairs or sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Great peaceful weekend! ”

“We had a wonderful and comfortable stay! All bedrooms had comfortable queen beds and all the bathrooms had everything we needed including plenty of fluffy towels, soaps and thoughtful extras. The coffee corner in the kitchen was well stocked and much appreciated! We especially enjoyed using the kayaks on the lovely lake and taking in the beautiful lake view from the deck. Our whole family loved it!”

“This property is absolutely beautiful! It all starts with the long driveway that makes you feel like you're leaving all your stress behind at the main road. The fire pit by the lake is the perfect spot to unwind—you can see a sky full of stars with no light pollution.The house itself has everything you need to stay entertained, even if the weather doesn't cooperate. And the walking trails offer hours of outdoor adventure and exploration.We will definitely be staying here again!”

They are adults, live in Florida, Minneapolis, Denver, and Salt Lake City. We had a wonderful time getting together, albeit for the sad occasion of a memorial of a great lady. ”

“This is a wonderful house on Clark Lake. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Truly one of the nicest rentals we’ve been in for a long while. Our only recommendation is that the owners deep clean the BBQ grill. We love to grill and cooked chicken on the grill one evening, noticed that it badly needed cleaning. But that’s it - a terrific house!”
