“Very noisy”

“It was quiet. It had a nice large fridge in the room and a microwave. The front desk person was kind and accommodating. ”

“We love having a couch in a hotel room for a place to sit that is not a bed. Huge spacious room. ”

“I liked the proximity to NIU. The room was nice and clean. The water in the bathroom got hot quickly. The fan and the light in the bathroom was rather noisy however and the light would not come on without the fan which was a slight drawback. But overall, I was pleased with the room and cost of the room.”

“It’s a lot of unfriendly people who live here that are loud and inconsidering that other people stay here too the halls smell of cigarettes and ice machine never works ”

“The hotel is in the midst of a desperately needed renovation, and the parts that are done are nice. But the kindness and concern of the manager (owner?) was remarkable - literally the best I’ve ever experienced. I would gladly overlook the hotel’s shortcomings just to come visit such a truly amazing person if I come back this way again.”

“Exterior of building filthy. Room was remodeled….somewhat better than exterior. Was supposed to be coffee and rolls in morning, but office still locked at 7:15 am. ”

“I was in town visiting family. This was a great place to stay and be close to their house. The view of the water was amazing as was the balcony room. The only downfall was for being a family type hotel, it would have been great if they had board games we could have used. They have a nice area that could be used for a Continental breakfast but only provided coffee and tea. Sometimes those little extras go a long way. Overall it was a nice experience and would stay there again. ”
