The roads getting to the mountains cabin are twisty and takes a bit of time getting to nearby places so we planned accordingly. But that’s why the place is perfect get away. “Nice little basement apartment. This is an older home but they have fixed it up well. It was perfect for my wife and I to stay the weekend while visiting my daughter at SVU. Nothing fancy but quit cozy and very close to SVU campus. Had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Would stay here again on future visits to BV. ”

“The Stuart Cottage was the perfect place to stay for a 3-day mini vacation with sisters & their husbands. The house was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and amenities were abundant. Location was great. We could walk into town or drive a short distance to local breweries and restaurants. We chose Staunton as an easy meeting spot between Baltimore and Raleigh. We enjoyed the shopping district, restaurant selection/ quality and local……

For those more adventurous, the mile walk into town is perfect workout (big hill coming back in though!)Was a little large for our needs but ability to bring our dog outweighed size! We enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again if our daughter wasn't graduating!”
