“The hotel is beautiful in a large estate-like property so it is very grand. The area is quiet but close to the town. You can walk to town (about 12 minute walk). The room was small (we got the classic room) but comfortable since we didn't spent much time there as we were in town most of the day. I would stay there again. It has great history.”

“Thank you for a great stay! The Abigail Inn is essentially a bed-and-breakfast. It is in a wonderful location for those who are visiting Lexington, Virginia, Washington and Lee University, or Virginia Military Institute. The included breakfast was honestly one of the best breakfasts of my life! ”

“We stay here overnight on our way to North Carolina Beaches. The staff is always accomodating and friendly.The rooms are well cleaned, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast is so-so, but there are other nearby options if that is important to you. There is a trolley ride around town, which the kids love. Historic downtown is within walking distance, with lots of restaurants and activities to do. ”
