“The hotel is beautiful in a large estate-like property so it is very grand. The area is quiet but close to the town. You can walk to town (about 12 minute walk). The room was small (we got the classic room) but comfortable since we didn't spent much time there as we were in town most of the day. I would stay there again. It has great history.”

“We really like staying at the Gison's Warehouse. I felt so comfortable in the room - it was clean, stylish, roomy, and had extras that made us feel important. The woman (assuming she is the owner) made sure we got in okay and shared with us where to dine. We will be traveling by there frequently and plan on making this one of our usual stops. Thanks for a wonderful experience! ”

“Thank you for a great stay! The Abigail Inn is essentially a bed-and-breakfast. It is in a wonderful location for those who are visiting Lexington, Virginia, Washington and Lee University, or Virginia Military Institute. The included breakfast was honestly one of the best breakfasts of my life! ”

“Our hosts treated us like family. We got the opportunity to unplug and relax in a beautiful, clean, historic property. It was delightful dining at the huge table and talking with new people. On our trip we enjoyed the mineral baths, hiking, swimming in the Jackson River, and a local hard cider tasting. All the local restaurants serve fresh, tasty homemade foods. I highly recommend Warm Springs / Hot Springs and Vine Cottage for a refreshing, quiet getaway.”

“We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! ”

“Our stay was part of a week long trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough great things about our stay- our room was comfortable and cozy- the entire inn and staff are perfect for a quiet getaway and we didn’t want to leave. Food is excellent and many fun things to do close by including wineries and historic places and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommend- Brenda and Kevin are amazing hosts and people. “My wife and I stayed here in May 2025. We loved it, and would definitely stay here again, if we were in the area. The inn itself was great, but Martha (the hostess) was the real highlight of this place. She was very welcoming, and certainly had a servant's heart. The breakfast she made was outstanding. And the cookies were delicious, too! The room we stayed in was very good (including the bathroom), and we loved sitting on the front porch during our first night there. The view of the mountains……
