“My family was in town for a wedding. The rental was located right down town. We had many food and exploring options available to us. Diana was a wonderful host. ”

“We stayed here for a weekend away from the cities. The place is just as pictured, everything looks new and it's only a block from the river. We walked to several restaurants nearby and hiked in Whitewater State Park and Alma. Overall a great place and perfect for a weekend getaway from the cities!”

"Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking quiet, history, and genuine hospitality. It’s more than just a B&B—it’s a soul-soothing experience."
