“Smiddy Haugh was a lucky find. It's off the main drag but with easy access to and from the A9. Family run, with excellent catering, a well-stocked bar and quiet, comfortable rooms at very reasonable prices. On site parking is a bonus. The hosts were welcoming and personable and we felt that our custom was valued throughout. A further bonus for us was having our dogs accommodated too. A very satisfying stayover and we'd certainly stay there again.”

“Lovely hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. A little tired around the edges but the staff make up for that. Food is excellent; dinner and breakfast menus are very good. Conservatory area is lovely with nice outlook. Excellent place for a short break. ”

“Nice estate. Family friendly with lots of activities to engage young kids. Kitchen had adequate cutlery. And was stocked with milk , butter , bread and juice besides the standard coffee station. Full kitchen with dishwasher and laundry machine. Beds were comfortable. Clean bathrooms. Some areas for improvement - shower and toilet were a bit hard to operate. Would be handy to keep some salt and pepper for guests to use. ”

“This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it.”

“This was a perfect location for us as we were driving and exploring the area. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were on site and were absolutely great hosts. One of our highlights on our vacation. The evening we arrived we were invited to have dinner at the hotel. This is a small establishment and almost has the feel of a bed and breakfast.
