“Great and friendly staff”

“Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. Sad that I missed out on what looked like a super Chinese dining experience for an evening meal! And just a few mins of the A1M”

“Great B & B in lovely Thirsk. Train station in walking distance and diverse dining fare in town. Hosts were very hospitable and were a wealth of information regarding things to do. Comfortable room and very nice breakfast. Excellent stay!”

“We stopped off 1 night en route to Lincoln. On site parking & well appointed rooms. Bar & restaurant areas very pleasant and breakfast was excellent. Worth knowing the bar serves coffee & cakes so would visit again even if passing through.”

“Fantastic place to stay. Had a great meal in The Clubhouse, amazing chill and relax in the spa and a brilliant experience overall. Room Service menu could be a bit better unless we were directed to the wrong page? Felt there wasn’t really much on there for just snacks, especially after having such a large early afternoon meal”

“Really enjoyed our stay while visiting Richmond, breakfast was great too! Only one small gripe that the shower was'nt good, the dials were back to front, to get it warm it had to be on cold and when it was warm it was a trickle.”

“Very much enjoyed my stay here. Travelling alone this time, so wasn’t in one of the larger rooms. It had everything I needed though. Particularly appreciated the friendly staff on reception and the availability of some parking. Would be very happy to stay here again. ”
