“The property was seeped in history. We stayed in room 3, the Kings room. A lovely compact room, spotless with lovely little touches such as a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a fresh little bottle of milk, a comfy bed, feather duvet, black out curtains, great shower and toiletries. The breakfast was fantastic. George, our host gave us helpful information and free tickets to Raby Castle. Wow, what a fabulous castle. The rooms were stunning and thd guides very knowledgeable. “I had a ground floor room that was a good size with en-suite facilities. The room was serviced and the towels changed every day. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. I ate dinner in the hotel twice when again the was a variety of food.”

“We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay here again. Room and bathroom were clean. Fresh towels, tea, coffee supplied in the room. Breakfast included in the morning was beautiful and had plenty to choose from. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Wasn't too noisy as situated just off the main square so got a good nights sleep. Close to all the shops, pubs and restaurants.”
