“Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was a little difficult to find but staff was a great help. Free parking, no AC, and no elevator so luggage must be carried up stairs. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! It was snowing and we had a long drive so we let them know check-in might be late. They said no problem and offered to have the kitchen prepare some dinner in advance as it would likely be closed when we arrived. We exchanged WhatsApp messages and dinner was reserved and ready for us when we arrived. Vlad greeted us and was an incredible host during our stay. He was friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“This was a father/daughter run guesthouse and they were very accommodating. The rooms are good sized and very clean with everything needed for a good stay, including tea, coffee and bottled water. There is no elevator but they graciously helped bring our suitcases upstairs. The breakfast (included) was excellent. This was more like staying with friends at their house.”

“Casa Savri is a lovely historic small hotel. Because of its historic classification some things can’t be changed, so for example be prepared to carry around your big old keys to get into your room and the hotel front door. But it adds to the charm. We had a junior suite and it was nice and spacious, with a king bed, and a sofa and two side chairs. The bathroom was modernized on a way the still felt like it fit with the historic nature. Breakfast included coffee, cheeses, meats, bread, eggs……

“Awesome place to spend a few days. Nice room. Nice breakfast place. Good. Hard to close/lock the door to the room, employees lack hospitality experience - completely unprofessional reception/service. Neighbour with noisy machines and wood cutting tools in the garden kinda ruined the morning mood. Rather expensive for what they offer.”

The day prior to my arrival, I was sent an email asking for information including name, passport, and address. After submitting this, I expected to be provided with check in instructions and possibly an access code. None of this happened. Upon arrival at the property at 18.45, there was no one to let me in. “This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. Once there the hotel was great, staff from friendly and pleasant. If one is going to stay here make sure to rent a 4x4……
