“You couldn’t ask for a better host or a better place just to get away relax , fish, and enjoy your time. This is our second year coming here for our family vacation and plan to return next year. We absolutely love this place.. ”

“Really enjoyed this little place. Peaceful and nobody ever bothered us. Great for a couples getaway. The bathtub was awesome. No trashcans, which was odd, but we just used grocery sacks and that was fine. The only other thing I didn’t like was we couldn’t control the AC. I guess it was controlled in the main part of the house. It was a little warmer than we like to sleep, but not terrible. Super clean place though and a really comfortable bed. ”

“A family member had a family emergency and didn’t get to stay”

“Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street……

“Gentle Villa Retreat is a wonderful place to host a group. Our group of 27 ladies enjoyed the place, especially the pool and the hot tub. We had a movie night all in one room. We were able to all sit down an eat together and the same room was used for some group activities. The biggest thing was that there was enough parking. ”

“The house and property were amazing. Gorgeous lake views, clean home and very private. The house was charming and the owner was responsive and hospitable. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“This lake house had everything we needed. It was my husband and I, our 4 kids plus 2 friends for the kids. This lake house had it all. It didn't matter if it was raining outside the house had everything we could have ever wanted. The lake was so peaceful I was able to not worry about the older kids taking kayaks out. It's a dream vacation if you want to just get away from the city. I loved every second, I can't wait to come back.”
