“We celebrated 50th birthday at Trails End Ranch and had an absolutely amazing time. The property is beautiful and so many amenities that everyone, teen, young adults and older adults all enjoyed. Walmart was only about 30-40 minutes away so able to grab needed items to cook on one of the many grills and in the completely furnished kitchens. Highly recommend staying at the ranch for your next friend/family gathering. We will definitely be back!!! ”

“We stayed with family friends for the weekend and had a great time. I highly recommend using the mule to drive around the property to see all the wildlife. We saw plenty of deer. The space itself had plenty of room. There is an air mattress available, but if you have more than 6, it’s a good idea to bring another air mattress. It’s far from any convenience stores or grocery stores (which is how we wanted it), but come with everything that you will need in advance. ”

“We had a great stay at Kyle's property in Bastrop. The house is wonderful and spacious, as is the backyard. The little cowboy pool out back is also a nice addition! It was cool, even though it was hot outside. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. No complaints, and we'll almost certainly be back next time we're in the area.”

“Check in was super easy. Property was as advertised. Amenities were beyond great. Hershel & Becky were terrific hosts. The kitchen was equipped with any and everything you would ever need. The house & property were very clean. The pool was a definite highlight of this property. The outdoor kitchen with the sink, ice maker & refrigerator was a great added touch. We highly recommend Mesquite Retreat for any family looking for an awesome property. We especially liked the secluded location……
