“Staying in the Round Lake Beach area to visiting family. Room is great and clean. Pretty view of Fox Lake. Only draw back is it is over a bar. Karaoke comes right up through the floor. Not to much of a problem as the bar closes at 11:00. So just have to suffer through the drunken super star want a be singers. It is good for some laughs. Over all I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. ”

“Stayed here while attending daughters boot camp graduation and her liberty weekend. was a very short drive to the base. The home was comfortable and relaxing with plenty of room. My daughter liked that she could relax after being in boot camp and nobody felt cramped or crowded. We were able to bake some of her favorite foods as well as take a short drive to may attractions and the airports. ”

“Property needs work. No screens on front porch. Front porch is collapsing. The back yard is a shared space with two homes/garages being rented. Property manager never mentioned this. Random strangers showing up in your fenced in backyard. 2nd bathroom is in an unfinished basement with very narrow stairs to access. AC does not cool the bedrooms upstairs. I could go on and on! Would not recommend it. ”

“This was a fantastic stay. If ever I am back in Chicagoland, this is where I am staying. So much fun and convenient to the northeast suburbs of the city, including Waukegan and Gurnee. Not for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet. The bar is hopping with the locals eager to welcome you to chit chat and share a drink or two. Bring ear plugs if you want to go to bed before 2am. So much needed fun and relaxation, all overlooking a beautiful lake. Who can ask for anything more!”
