“We could hardly have wished for a more wonderful way to start our trip to South Africa than staying at the Villa Rosa Guest House in Sea Point for 6 days. The location is perfect: one block from Main Road with all its shops and eateries, two blocks from the ocean front road with its long esplanade that is perfect for strolling. “I booked Ashby Manor House in early March for a short trip to attend a wedding with my partner. Liesl reached out when I made our reservation, offering a ride from the airport and suggestions for tourist excursions. “Excellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! ”

“Our stay at this hotel began promisingly with a comfortable room, friendly staff, and good food. However, this positive experience took a sharp turn when we returned to find our room door wide open, with all our valuables—electronics, passports, clothing—exposed to anyone who walked by. Given that our room was less than 10 feet from an occupied room and only 50 feet from a restaurant open to the public, this situation was both unsettling and unacceptable. “Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.”

“Superlative and ultimate calm resting place for those whio need a base in Pleetenberg region, just off N2 en route to Tstiskama. Excellent clean facilities- swimming pool, kitchen, lounge, bbq and of course rooms. The view over the bay is beautiful and has its own private walkway to the lagoon. “住了三个晚上，非常舒适。酒店服务员很热情服务态度比我之前住的喜来登好很多。附近很安全，正门口就是警察局。是我们在南非晚上出来闲逛不用担心的地方。这里毕竟是开普敦富人区，管理的很好。酒店背靠十二门徒峰，右边可以看到狮子头山。酒店出口第一个交叉口上山5分钟就能到桌山。小遗憾就是，虽然冰箱天天免费提供吃喝的但早餐得自己做哈，而且天天一样的早餐有点郁闷。”
