“My stay was very comfortable. I especially appreciated the quiet, the comfortable bed, and that wonderful shower! Sara was very responsive to my questions. I would definitely stay again and recommend. ”

“I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath……

“We stayed at the end cabin in the cabin complex. The cabin and the complex were really nice. The cabin was one main level with an upstairs loft area and a downstairs back porch area. It was open and spacious with a nice wood decor. The complex had fire pits, corn hole, a sauna, a hot tub etc... The whole place was nice and well thought out. Overall, it was great. I especially enjoyed morning coffee on the upper back deck and more evening smores than I could handle! There was one minor……

“I came for a personal retreat to enjoy silence and solitude and I was not disappointed. The cottage is lovely, well maintained, and clean, surrounded by hundreds of trees. My trip was topped off with a beautiful snowfall. I look forward to returning during another season to see the gardens in bloom.Heather and Ned are gracious hosts.”
