“My partner, and and our 17 yo daughter enjoyed a week at this cabin. The kitchen was well-appointed, the living room and front porch was very comfortable. The view and access to the New River was fabulous. Even two neighborhood dogs came by for multiple visits.”

It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. It is a distance from anywhere and there are no local stores if you forgot something, but that was the only downside. We were close to……

“One of the loveliest homes and properties we have ever stayed. The view is incredible, the location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the home is cozy and comfortable. Our whole family loved every minute of our visit here. The fireflies at night were spectacular. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I’ve ever seen. My kids loved the crow’s nest and rocking in the chairs on the front porch was blissful. We certainly plan to return!!”

“We enjoyed the privacy and the property was well appointed. Some of the guidance docs were hard to follow but nothing that impacted our stay. If you’re going fishing, just walk around the gated complex of hatchery ponds to pick up the trail. It’s not obvious the first time. ”

Going trout fishing (which is just a drive down steep driveway and across the street) and playing in the creek all day then coming home to hot tub and grilling in the evening was amazing, lots of wildlife in the area which was very cool to see, and there was also a cherry tree close to the deck so we foraged some! April was very responsive and allowed us to extend our stay with ease. We’d definitely stay again! ”
