“4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful natural light and scenery from inside as we cooked and played board games in the evenings. We hiked at Grayson Highland Park, saw snow and ice and even 3 wild ponies. Then, downtown we enjoyed The Liar’s Bench , and especially the Coffee Shop. The town of Lansing is recovering beautifully and appreciating with kindness and warmth, the tourism as it returns after Helene. ”

“Beautiful, quiet, and private getaway on the water. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Everything in the home is very high quality and super clean. The host was quick to respond during the check in and check out process for questions. The location of this house is beautiful and makes the perfect trip if you are looking for some quiet and relaxation.”

“The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. Upon arrival, the views are stunning and my dog had a blast running around the open yard. There was a cat lounging on the deck (Not sure if it belongs to the home or a neighbor,……

“The home has 4 (-5) bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, beautiful front decks with gorgeous mountain views. I t is a wonderful place to have family time! It is pet-friendly (a requirement for us.) We stayed 3 nights-not nearly long enough. We loved the home. It is about 15-25 minutes from towns (West Jefferson is very nice) but convenient to New River water activities, hiking, Grayson Highlands State Park (loved the wild ponies! and hiking waterfalls,) Mount Jefferson hikes, etc.”
