“I don’t usually leave reviews but I needed to on this one because so many reviews are negative for this little motel! Please keep in mind that it’s a MOTEL! If you are expecting a swanky hotel, move on. This is a clean, affordable and convenient motel along the 127 yardsale route! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The area is safe and convenient. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and there are lots of close dining option. I have zero complaints to list! ”

“Dated but very pleasant especially sitting while watching deer and the lake. Food is unavailable weekdays at lodge but available for lunch and dinner at the dock, and good. Alcohol is better skipped at their bar. ”

“Our 13th annual Girls Weekend was an easy success staying at this beautiful Monticello home. David was great to work with and the location was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. The views were stunning and the heated pool allowed us to take advantage of the beautiful October weekend! The hot tub was the best we have ever experienced! The fire pit area was perfect for relaxing and star gazing. The game room was fun and all the beds were comfortable. We loved it and highly recommend!”

“We really enjoyed our stay, and could not be more pleased. The house is very clean and well equipped, the rooftop patio has a beautiful view of the property and river. We went fishing, bbq’d, the kids loved the wide open yard to play, and the fire pit is so nice at night. Just a great place to be close to nature, see all the stars at night, and spend time with family. ”
