It is a quintessential experience if you want to have quiet yet convenience to both the north and south forks. The ferry is quick and the island is beautiful and quiet if you go during off season. Lovely long weekend trip for me and my husband. Highly recommend. ”

“Our stay at Wainscott Woods Retreat was very comfortable. The location is convenient, the newly renovated room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion is that there needs to be some clear signage at the entrance to the property. We arrived in daylight and still had a very hard time finding the place. Overall, a wonderful stay. “Exactly as described. Not super high end but very clean and had all the functionality I needed. Wi-Fi was good, bed was comfortable, area is quiet, staff was lovely, room was big and spotless. And I got upgraded to a suite, which had a large and nice sitting area. ”
“Looks can be deceiving. The outside of the the Bentley reminds me of a motel, almost like a Schitt's Creek type (2 floors, walk-up stairs to get to the 2nd floor, etc.)
But, I was pleasantly supprised by the room we stayed in. It was a suite and very clean and spacious. The Staff were so friendly and the area surrounding the pool looked really nice as. well. Oh yeah, each room has a record player, don't forget to bring your vinyl. But if you don't bring your own, the hotel has some vinyl……
