“We took an impromptu stay the week of Easter to see family in the area, and do some real estate prospecting. I grew up in the area, and am looking to move back. The check-in process was super simple. We arrived in town a little early and were able to immediately check in. The house was clean and all rooms were nicely decorated and accommodating. The place was pet friendly as well and had gates at the top of the stairs and on the balcony for safety. Unfortunately my pup got a little anxious and……

“This place was the perfect size for our group. We were in Batesville for a clinic. It was a little farther out than I would normally like to stay but we didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Cannot complain about the house. You will like staying here if you like being out away from busy areas. Very quite and peaceful.”

“Stay was nice and peaceful. Little difficult to get to but when you want quiet that’s what it takes 😊. Could have been a little cleaner-trash cans in house, dust, and outdoor porches. No cleaning supplies or trash can liners. Washer and dryer worked great! We were there two weeks. Plenty of kitchen dishes, pans and utensils!”

“The cabin location is beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful view and peacefulness. It is difficult to get up and down to the water from the cabin but we still made the trek and got to laugh at each other in the process. The only complaint we have is that the master bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable and did not make for a good nights sleep.”

“I have had hit and miss experiences with VRBO. This was by far one of the best!! The owner (Eileen) was great, very communicative, and accommodating. The house was great. Better quality and value than I expected. Plan to stay here again next time I visit family and would feel completely comfortable bringing my son!”

“Our stay happened during the flood of the century, but the house was on high ground and the views if Lake Thunderbird were amazing. The house had games for our grandchildren and plenty of space for adults. Our grandsons even took out the kayaks that were provided. The owners even had life jackets available. The owners were easy to contact and addressed any issues that arose. It was all-in-all a wonderful stay!”
