“This host is perfect, responsive and has home stocked with all needs while on the road. I booked this place but ended up staying at another property done the street with 2 bedrooms. The just made sure every detail was covered, had plenty of kitchen items, coffee, basic toiletries stocked for use. We appreciated this so much. Home was very clean, with plenty of towels/ sheets and everything one could want. We could not have been happier there for a long week stay. ”

“In town for work and decided to stay in my old neighborhood! This place was perfect, felt like I was right back home Classic Southside Bham- quaint, heavily planted, shaded, well maintained old home with some creative touches. Will definitely stay again next time I’m up here!”

“Loved everything about this property! It is an updated older home with spacious bedrooms, comfortable mattresses, the BEST pillows, and a lovely bathroom with a large shower. The outdoor spaces are really nice too! We stayed here for UAB freshman orientation and it was a quick drive to the school. Definitely will try to stay here again when we come for visits”

“Property manager was very professional and the housekeeper was great. The apartment was nice inside but the exterior and the hallway leading the the unit smelled like smoke and weed. The stairway carpet was gross and the smell stuck to you as you walked in and out of the apartment. If they could fix the hallway issue, I would rate it 4 stars. It’s a shame bc the apartment is very clean and cute.”

“The neighborhood was not what was expected. The toilet downstairs had incorrect bowl and lid and was not secure. The toilet upstairs had a broken seat. The TP holder upstairs was broken. There were gnats/fruit flies everywhere. The property management never cleaned up the dog park or playground area. The couch was extremely uncomfortable. There was no microwave. Overall, this was not a great place to stay for an extended amount of time and we would not recommend! ”

“Great clean space near downtown. Host was great and prompt to respond. The previous tenants had broken the TV and they replaced it quickly with no questions asked. Highly recommended! ”

“I told host I was coming in late, had difficulty finding it as porch light was turned off. Entire building is old, floors are warped with 6 inch differences in floor. Floors and windows were dirty, smelled bad, blinds are broken and don’t fully cover windows. There are 4 entrances from outside, didn’t feel safe. I left early after finding cockroaches. I asked owner to refund the nights not stayed, and got no response. ”
