“Freshly renovated but still very old rooms. Squeaky floors, doors that have to be closed by key that not working very well. Advertised parking, not on site, you have to walk up and down the large stone road to get to the hotel. Food interesting but pricey. ”

“This was our best stay during our tour of France and Switzerland. Delphine, the owner left a career in television in Paris to pursue her dream of running a guest house and she does this to a very high standard. We are clearly talking a labour of love here. She has thrown open her house for the benefit of her guests and embraced the project with enthusiasm. The restaurant for breakfast is very good, lots of selection. The dinner on the other hand was lack luster with options that that were limited. Nothing for a non meat eater and the service was confusing. overall I highly recommend and its great value. ”

“Das Chateau liegt mitten in Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und mit dem Auto doch nicht weit von Bordeaux entfernt. Wir empfehlen jedoch sehr, ein Auto zu nehmen. Das Personal ist durchgängig sehr professionell, vom Empfang, bis Restaurant und auch House Keeping. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt an einem Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ebenfalls das Restaurant, welches über zwei Michelin-Sterne verfügt und von Herrn Schilling aus dem Elsass geführt wird. ”
