“Our stay was wonderful! The property was very clean and the owners thought of everything. We were visiting Ky to go to the horse races and visit some bourbon distilleries. We wish we would have had the time to stay another day and enjoyed the property more.”

“The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended.”

“We planned a trip to central KY with friends and had a number of great destinations to go and visit. Little did we know that our home base at The Farmhouse turned out to be one of the best destinations of them all. It was simply perfect. Beautiful, relaxing, and charming surroundings on a beautiful working farm with horses, cattle, and some of the bustle on the farm with the hard working Tatum family. “Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. ”
