“The parking was easy and the hotel is in a lovely position surrounded by blue sea. We were warmly welcomed with complimentary bottles of water and a welcome rum punch or beer. “As per email exchange with Hotels.com, we are trying to obtain a refund for this booking as, on arrival at the hotel, the gate was chained closed. We had kept trying to phone to confirm our ETA but the telephone number was unobtainable. The hotel did not attempt to contact us. We were very disappointed as the remote location really appealed to us.”

“Very quiet and comfortable. Grounds were maintained and the beach is right outside the back gate of the property. The only issue was internet access. Maybe it was due to the recent hurricane, so I want consider that a negative. We had our global hotspot, so we managed. ”

“My 21-day stay at Casa da Buena Vista was wonderful. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood that is within walking distance to town. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden while watching and listening to birds, including hummingbirds and canaries. The host, Richard, was very helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The grounds are very peaceful and beautiful. Every day was a good day- for 21 days.”

“My stay was well spent at Golfview. I have absolutely no regrets making this choice. The place has a "homey" feel to it. I needed a place that is clean, felt safe and comfortable with a great ambiance. Golfview provided all of the above with the added benefit of a great lounge to hang out and have a drink or to eat sumptuous meals on evenings along with and excellent complimentary breakfast choices on mornings. I highly recommend Golfview Hotel in Mandeville for your vacation while in Jamaica……

“The property was nice, very quiet but was a fair distance from the township of Falmouth. Miguel the owner was always available when you required his help for anything. The suite itself was very clean thoughit lacked much in the way of cutlery, dish and laundry soap. The suite has a washer and drier but the drier didn't work, but I was able to access another suite to dry my clothes. The house is a little difficult to find and the guard at the gated community does not know anything, so be sure……

“Loved the beaches”

“My friends and I stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was amazing. We can’t wait to go back. It was so much to do. The entertainment was the highlight of our time. There’s an entertainer there by the name of Miguel and let me tell you, he does not disappoint you at all. I can’t wait to go back! ”

“I liked that the property was in a very rural area so I saw the real Jamaica . But I also had some creature comforts at beyond sunset. The staff were lovely and helpful. The place was in a beautiful spot and well maintained even though they were still recovering from the recent hurricane. ”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Great location in Black River on the beach. The place was easy to find, safe, and clean. The beds were very comfy, cool AC, and had great wifi. I highly recommend staying here and will stay again in the future”

“The property is awesome, not crowded. Access to the beach isnt perfect, you need a pass to exit n enter through the gate (for safety reasons) but that can also be a deternt as you have to find someone to give you the pass. Othewise, its a public beach so you could just leave the property and walk to the beach. Its cool, very breezy, the view is great, lots of walking paths, tall palm trees, lush green yards, mangoes n naseberry trees, wide pool. Bar and restaurant. Its a lovely place to get……
