“We had an 8 day stay at this VRBO just across the street from my husband’s old high school. The location was excellent for our runs to see family and friends in the area. HyVee market, Caribou and McDonalds were all within walking distance. We found the apartment matched well to the on-line photos. The beds were firm yet comfortable. George was an excellent host and responded to our every needs and inquiries.”

“An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO.”

“The space is nicely decorated and maintained. Unfortunately while we were there in December, we were overrun with ants and asian beetles. We killed hundreds every day. Ant traps were out, but they obviously weren't working. If they're able to get rid of those, it's a solid spot.”

“This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place……
