“Cozy, modest accomodation. Greeted by host. Welcome bottle in fridge, chocolates on table. Beds comfy. Full kitchen but light on pots and pans.”

“An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO.”

“Great communication! Looks as if the owners have been working to improve the property. Had everything we needed. If you have allergies to pets, don’t stay as there was fur in the couch and mattresses. Didn’t bother us, but just a helpful heads-up. ”

“This property was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property is quiet and clean. The family that lives upstairs are quiet and nice. The location is good with easy access to highways and lots of things to do. The couch is nice and comfortable for binge watching Netflix. ”

“This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place……

“If you are heading to Minneapolis, Paisley Park & the Minnesota Arboretum are just minutes away. We had no trouble getting downtown to see the Dean collection @ MIA & St. Mary’s Basilica. Our hosts were easily accessible & quickly helped with our needs/questions. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great location. Has all basic needs. Steps are many and steep but totally manageable unless disabled. Clean and comfortable. Good restaurants, walking trails, beautiful area.”
