“A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!”

Gourmet level food, cooked by Willem, at a very reasonable cost. Our room was very clean and in a lovely setting in the grounds of the hotel. L'hôtel est très sympathique, propre, et très calme. Le personnel est très gentil et à l'écoute de ses clients. La chambre est très spacieuse, propre, la literie et de bonne qualité. La restauration et le petit-déjeuner sont excellents et copieux. Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée trop froide à notre goût par contre un plus pour le……

The ambience of the place is really lovely. Plenty of nice walks around. Near to the river and lots of great restaurants. The beds are so comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. “Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat.”
