“We really loved our stay at this house in Samara. The pool was wonderful and we absolutely loved watching the monkeys climb through the trees every afternoon. The house is about a 3 minute walk down the path to Samara beach. It was a pretty beach and we enjoyed watching the horses show up and take a dip in the ocean in the mornings. It's not the best beach for swimming though because it's pretty rocky. Definitely bring water shoes! However, Carillo beach is just a few minute drive away and……

“Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here. It was a short walk to the beach and we saw howler monkeys multiple times on the walk. You can also walk to restaurants. The property manager was very attentive and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“This property is a great layout for multi-family groups and its proximity to Guiones for swimming and surfing is prime! As other reviewers have mentioned the ONLY thing lacking here is a dishwasher, which may not be an issue if you don’t plan to cook much in the home. The pool and rancho are incredible bonus spots to have on the property, we spent so much time hanging at the house enjoying these features. “I never wanted to leave! With the beautiful yard, the beach, the tide pools and Cheyo and his wonderful dogs, Sand Dollar Cove was heavenly! We wanted to stay somewhere away from the crowds where we could relax and enjoy the outdoors, and we did! The birds and howler monkeys were plentiful. “Before the trip, Alvaro was very quick to respond to any questions about the house. Upon arrival, Maggie greeted us and was also very prompt with any questions or assistance that we needed. The house is clean and white, feels fresh. Lots of people can stay here and not be in each other’s way. It’s located in a great proximity for surfing and boogie boarding. Also away from the noise and chaos of the more tourist area. Everything is just a short walk down the beach though. It is Costa Rica, there……

We had an amazing time! The owners were great to deal with and very responsive. It was obvious that they took great care to decorate this house and make sure guests had all the amenities they could possibility need.
