“I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. “This is a cute/romantic little place that sleeps 2 comfortably. We loved the jacuzzi & sauna, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. Lots of nice plants on the back patio, with a table and bench. Theres a beautiful tree growing over the house in the backyard and you can see through the skylight over the bed.This place was a steal for under 400 for two nights in our opinion. “We had a wonderful & relaxing time at Casa Canal this past weekend with a group of women. Although the neighborhood made us a little concerned when we were driving to it but when we got there we felt secure. The property is surrounded with video surveillance & once behind the gate of the home you feel transported to a different place.
