“La atención del personal en general fue excelente! El hotel está ubicado en una zona de clima tropical húmedo, por lo que el calor en cualquier época del año es alto y, el hotel debería tener aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, solo hay un ventilador de techo que en nuestro caso no generó en su nivel más alto, una buena cantidad de aire para mitigar la temperatura por la noche. “This hotel is directly on busy street with a lot of trucks and buses coming day and night. So noice is disturbing. Additional problem: the restaurant. They just don’t know how to cook. We made an error by having a dinner there: the meet was oversalted and the fish was like rubber. ”

“This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop……

“This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. The purpose of my trip was birding, so please be advised that I speak from this perspective, and fancy accommodations and other excursions were not important to me during this stay.
