“We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“I love the design and the staff. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. The room and the common areas are clean and ambiance is relaxing. Lots of plants worked into the decorations and it fits the vibe of the country. Walked to different museums and theater and perfect walking location for meet-up of local tours. Their restaurant Azotea was also superb. Everything in our experience was fantastic. ”

“Perfect spot to stay next to San Jose city-center. Everything is walkable from this small hotel which is half a block from the main square. Staff is very nice, helpful, English-speaking, and accommodating. Free breakfast is large and lots of choices. Room was HUGE and very clean, bathroom was very modern, and the bed was comfortable. High marks!!”

“La atención muy ineficiente llegamos al hotel,nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad de habitaciones tuvimos que esperar un montón para que nos brindaran una habitación que no era súper pequeña y incómoda . La de recepción no nos supo dar una razón no podíamos cancelar la reservación esto fue terrible muy mala experiencia.”

“Excellent service, great staff, nice clean hotel. The breakfast included was very good. Great location, huge park next door. Good exchange rate given at the front desk. The only negative was the hotel restaurant and hotel boutique, very expensive and not good value. Better to eat and shop elsewhere. I would stay ther again.”
