“Property in location very near city centre, communication with agent excellent, property does require some minor maintenance which the agent accepted and said they would address ( cracked floor tiles kitchen area, fridge door does not close properly, some stains on carpet area). Overall a good property in a great location.”

“SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined……

“I booked this on the strength of it's rating but found that a few things weren't quite right... Examples: The door did not lock from the inside, there is an Ill fitting bolt on the door but the key was misaligned with the handle so could not be properly locked, The bathroom window did not close fully, There were a few cobwebs throughout the rooms and some dirt around the cupboard handle in the bathroom it had clearly only very briefly been cleaned Hotels.com says checkin was 11am it's……

“The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough ”

“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

“Super cosy cottage with everything you could wish for. Super communication from Sue who kindly informed us that we were able to check in earlier than expected. Extremely comfortable and clean. Lovely village with amenities and buses to York. Park and ride option just a short drive away by a great designer outlet. The little touches including the milk and biccies were also very much appreciated. My only issue was forgetting my phone charger (when will i learn???!!!!) Thank you for a lovely……

“This place was so well cared for and you could tell they cared for the property. It had everything you needed and was so incredibly peaceful. Wonderful communication and will most certainly return.Excellent value!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. ”

“This house has so much potential but just missed in several areas. On the plus side, the house was, apart from some cobwebs in alcoves, reassuringly clean although some of the cutlery and crockery needed a jolly good wash before use. The decor was fun and the use of space imaginative. There is insufficient cutlery and crockery meaning that it was necessary to wash up after each meal. This was annoying and made worse by the fact that we were given only one dishwasher tablet - not that we would……
