Waking up and having our morning coffee on the private beach just beyond a small dune was a truly amazing experience for us, as we love the ocean. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, but who wants to leave when the ocean is in your backyard? We saved a lot of money by bringing groceries & beverages. “My family stayed for a week. The house was spotless up on arrival, one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in! It was the perfect size for our family, the location was wonderful and the neighbors renting were so kind. We had everything we needed. One downside was the family staying in the big house kept throwing their dog poop all around the garbage can, which was not pleasant to navigate around when taking out the garbage and yucky to look at. “My sister and I had an amazing week at the Cape Cod Dune Cottage. The views were incredible including seeing whales and various sea birds. Two of the bedrooms had ocean views and all the beds were comfy. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed! It was a 1 minute walk down a path to the beach. “There are several things at this property that need serious updating. I understand that the main appeal is the oceanfront, which was very nice. However, being that our stay was for a week, we needed to spend time inside as well. The bathroom in the upper house is very small, and the size of the shower is unrealistic for any grown adult. It was nearly impossible to shower without banging your arms against the walls and the angle was very awkward. It’s tiny. There is no fan and no plugs! The……
