“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The view of the river greeted us as we walked through the doors and we watched the river flow throughout our rainy stay. There were plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options including the finished basement which felt comfy and cozy for the young adults in our group. An added bit of charm were the three gas fireplaces, including one in the dining/kitchen area. The travel into the city from this location was doable and we ran into minimal traffic.Thank you……

“I loved staying at your place and recommend others to go. I booked online at work on a PC but when i tried communicating to you via Vrbo site it was difficult to. Maybe a note in the room with your phone number to text would be better for any questions while staying there. It is a beautiful place and i loved seeing the animals in the morning. I was going to ask if it was OK to pet them. I tried and one came close but no petting. :) ”

“With my sons living in Sellwood and Lake Oswego, this Milwaukie location was perfect for me, my daughter and son in law. Lovely, comfy, cozy yet spacious. Didn't miss not having a kitchen since we were out and about so much. Highly recommended!”

“The house worked out great for our family to have access to xc skiing on Mt Hood over the MLK weekend. The boys loved the game room ping pong, darts, and foosball. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is set up to cook and bake. The gas grill might need a tuneup or new cylinder as it wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been. Comfortable and clean, everyone had a good time. ”

“Very spacious and comfortable. Great for large or multiple families. Host responds quickly to communication. House does have lots of stairs, a steep driveway and long entrance stairway. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However, it has a substantial outdoor area and wonderful views.Many amenities nearby. Easy access to freeway, restaurants, airport and shopping.”

“It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely.”

“VRBO was the hero here. The owner left us stranded, had to get a hotel and he continued to message us late into the night after he had refused to let us in the property, saying he wasn’t sure how this booking “got passed” him. ”

“When I arrived I was surprised how big it was. There were 5 of us but the house is quite large and would easily accommodate 9 people. Everything was clean and uncluttered, A few little quirks due to age of the home but no issues. We cooked all meals at home and the kitchen has most standard supplies. We knew to bring any special pans needed with us. It was nice to have a Keurig and complimentary coffee! The location is good with a grocery store just a couple miles down the road. The house is……

“Very quiet area, backs up to the woods and the jacuzzi is awesome. Close to stores and restaurants as well as skiing and outdoor adventures. Would definitely recommend.”
