“Ein Mietauto ist dringend zu empfehlen, da das Hotel etwas ab vom Schuss ist. Zum Beach fährt zu bestimmten Zeiten ein Shuttle, auch wenn es nur 17 Fußminuten entfernt ist, ist die Straße ohne Fußweg bis runter (auch durch die gefährliche Fahrweise der Italiener) nicht anzuraten. Im Ort Mongiove und Patti gibt es viele Restaurants. Allerdings ist es auch zu größeren Städten (Taormina, Messina, Palermo) immer ein gutes Stück (1-3h) zu fahren. “This was our second stay at Cavanera. The setting is amazing and the restaurant, Riserva, is outstanding. The surrounding area is a wine lover’s paradise. Things to improve…. They should just let the air conditioning run in the gym. It’s a sauna in there. They only turn it on if someone wants to use it which makes no sense to me.
