“The apartment is perfectly located for our needs in the Bernal Heights area. We were able to walk everywhere. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and stores a short walk away. Parking was easy to find.The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. It had a very nice shower head and all the convenience of home. Although we didn’t really cook there, the kitchen was well stocked with the basic necessities. They have a couple of choices for making coffee. If you choose the Nespresso……

The neighborhood is perfect for exploring in all directions—Richmond with all its great restaurants, Golden Gate Park and the de Young museum, the Presidio etc. Nearby Geary street gives you a. Straight shot downtown on the bus. Howard was very helpful and communicative and we particularly appreciated his letting us leave our luggage for a late pick up on our last day. It was a delightful stay. ”

There is a nearby market place with a grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. It is very close to the 101 freeway. The stairs up to the apartment are steep and you will want to have a light on to navigate the steps as well as the entry hallway to the front door. “We had a very nice stay here. I had seen these house boats last time I was in the SF area and wanted to try them out. It was nice when the tide was up as you had a very gentle movement on board. Unit was very clean and we enjoyed having the W/D in the unit. Owner gave very detailed instructions and the stay was easily managed. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience the house boat. ”
