“Fun little getaway”

“A wonderful place of respite, with lots of thoughtful amenities. Before this trip, I didn't really know what a Dark Skies community was, but oh, how we enjoyed laying out on the balcony at night, looking at the sky and seeing countless stars, compared to the few visible from home. Close enough to town to visit it at will, and just far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, and the voices of birds of all kinds. Our golden retriever loved the backyard, as well as hanging out with us, indoors.We……

“Very nice for a quiet weekend getaway”

“Perfect for a solo traveler like me. It rained the night I arrived and most of the next day, so I was glad for the wood stove. The site manager allowed me to check in a little early and came quickly with a battery for the smoke alarm when I asked. Clean, great view of the valley. ”

“All I can say is the attention to detail was amazing! From the kitchen, to the bathroom and everything in between!!! We had everything we needed to make it the “glamping” experience we were going for. Even the pillows were comfortable (and that can sometimes be a hit or miss). We loved it so much, we decided to extend our stay, which we took advantage of right away after seeing a magnet on the refrigerator that it was offered for a 50% discount. We definitely recommend this place! 10 out of 10;……

“Beautiful panoramic views and lots of space around to take pup for walk. Cabins have a lot of character and decorated nicely with cool decor. Very clean and loved the fireplace. Thank you!”

“Sweet cottage, perfect for our family of 4.Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of towels/blankets. Appliances look new. Didn’t do any cooking on this trip but kitchen looked well stocked with anything we would need. Cara was easy to communicate with. Check in was very easy. Good location near downtown.”

“As the description suggests, this is a tiny little house. Kitchen is good for pre-made food brought in to store and eat. Bed is comfy and the place had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Julian.”
