“We spent our spring break at Bandy Canyon Ranch. It was wonderful! Our family (Dad, Mom, 2 young kids) stayed in the Peacock Cottage. It's recently been renovated and was very comfortable. A quick note: BCR got new owners a few years back, and they're actively investing in the property. They're going through each cottage to upgrade/renovate it. “The ranch is a little hard to find on Google Maps as we were driving over in the dark after viewing wildflowers in Anza Borrego- it's actually opposite the Warner Springs Ranch gas station. We were saved by an alert and super helpful security guard who spotted us! The cottage is small and cozy, with two heaters in case it gets cold. Basic amenities were provided. It was a good place for us to get a rest and sleep before heading back up to the Bay Area the next day.”

“This was a really lovely place to stay and I wish we had longer at the property. Everything we could have wanted was provided onsite, and it was very close to the town. The only drawbacks were that it was a bit difficult to find (the route is circuitous, and Google Maps doesn't do a great job with navigation), and that we arrived during an unseasonably cold spell, and it was freezing. It would be good to have the heaters on a little to prepare for arriving guests. Other than that, a lovely stay!……
