“Everything was perfect for us , not far to walk to sea front / high street shops , we didn’t have the breakfast at the property as not always early risers , we would definitely stay here again , a lot of places in Scarborough don’t have their own parking or if they do there’s extra charge and with hubby having mobility scooter the parking was essential for us .A big Thankyou to the lovely hosts , keep on doing what your doing , fantastic 👏”

“Lovely welcome from Tina who was very helpful throughout. Room was small but beautifully formed. Breakfast fantastic. Under fifteen minutes walk into town or onto the beach; lovely gardens to visit nearby. My first visit to Scarborough and I will be back; back to Powys Lodge too.”

“It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. ”

“This property is in an excellent location opposite the harbour with amazing views. The room was a good size and warm considering the freezing weather. It seemed to be recently decorated with a modern bathroom. Lots of wardrobe space and a king size bed. However, there were some issues in the room including a very scaly kettle, only 2 teabags, 1 shower gel, no glasses, no bathmat, flat batteries in tv remote, and only half a loo roll. “I stayed for one night at The Cordelia as a solo traveller, and chose this hotel as it was conveniently located and looked great in the photos. I was not disappointed! From the moment I arrived, Rebecca was most welcoming. I was given a dis for the car parking on the road and was shown to my room which was warm and cosy with lovely decoration and a homely touch.
