Aside from low stock of paper goods (which really wasn't an issue as we got more in town) it was great. Yes floors are creaky. It’s an old house. It is part of the charm. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“Upon arrival a few minutes before 4 PM, we were surprised to find the driveway completely covered in thick snow, despite the surrounding roads and other driveways being clear. With both an AWD and a 4x4 vehicle, we still struggled to get traction and ended up sliding down. Our family had to manually shovel and sand the driveway just to attempt access.To make matters worse, when some family tried to enter the cabin at check-in time, the entry code didn’t work. I called the rental office at least……

“This a beautiful property. Secluded and quiet but close enough to town to visit shops, get groceries, go to restaurants daily. The downtown area of West Jefferson is fun, beautiful, and friendly. Highly recommend this property. We visited with our 3 adult children and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Would definitely visit again!”

“This cabin was fantastic. This was my first experience booking a vrbo and I was very impressed. The cabin had everything we could need. My friends and I usually do mountain races and camp normally but with the recent weather and rain this was so much better. I think from now on we will be using the cabins. The owners of this cabin are very nice and helpful letting us know all about the area and what we can do. Perfect place for fishing, or floating down the river. It was only about 40 minutes……

“Clean, bright, nicely redone old house just a couple of short blocks from "Main Street" (Jefferson Ave). No dishwasher or washing machine - which was no problem for us. Nicely outfitted kitchen with all the basics, plus a french press. Lots of old house character. Very nice to have a bedroom and daybed (in the sunroom) on the first floor. Upstairs bedrooms don't allow closet access and there's not really anywhere to hang clothing (fold-down hanger in one room would hold a few light items).……
