“I feel obligated to contradict the prior review regarding the following: there WAS hot water, and while there are certainly homeless in the neighborhood (and I have experience with homeless folks in Seattle) there were no conflicts or issues with any of them. “The hotel is beautifully historic and very stylish with recent renovations. It was extremely well located ,right in the heart of the historic area and within walking distance of all attractions. “If you’re coming from Sao Bento, it’s quite a walk up. Much easier to come in across from Church of Saint Ildefonso. The area is filled with tourists but not too noisy at night. All in all good value. ”
