“Like a small Ritz-Carlton, but better managed with an almost Asian level of service, which in my experience of luxury hotels worldwide over the last 40 years qualifies this property to be not just a 4 star, but closer to a 5 star, and certainly the best hotel on Hiltonhead Island (all the Marriott properties on HH are pretty mediocre, which is unfortunate for me, given I'm a loyal Bonvoy member). The only complaints are that I wish the property had more activities planned for guests and the suite we were in, in the double queen room, the room never got below 78 degrees but the rest of the suite was freezing. ”
