“We could not have picked a more lovely chalet for a family visit to the Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park area. "Wow-factor" water views with a nice back yard and coveted beach access allowing for strolls at low-tide. The property is private, quiet and scenic- a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bar Harbor where parking can be challenging due to crowds. “I have to say, out of all of the properties we have ever stayed in, this ranks among the very top. Such a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The owners have literally thought of everything. We were greeted by a very clean property, snacks in the kitchen and a view off of the back that was breathtaking! We are already planning our next trip to Maine and this property is an absolute must. “The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed.”
